KERN has, and continues to, design and manufacture a wide variety of custom designed connector accessories. These items by far outnumber those in our standard product line. Our Sales and Engineering staff can provide expert assistance in initial concepts or modifications to existing components, thereby assisting designers with compliance to EMI/RFI specifications such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-E-6051 or the commercial requirements of CISPR, FCC, VDE, NASA and others. In addition to EMI / RFI and connector accessories, KERN has always provided an array of precision machining and processing services for all of our customers in the defense, electronics, aerospace and commercial industries. Our experienced precision machinists and CAM specialists are devoted to providing our customers with accurate, defect-free parts; even with the most difficult of configurations. KERN’s Precision Machining Division specializes in the field of high-speed close tolerances machining of aluminum and stainless alloys and special materials such as Titanium and Inconel.
